The momentum behind New Renaissance Art Advisory is stronger than ever. By mid-March, members of the team had already completed their first major mission of the year—spreading authentic expression across four continents in just under 40 days.

From Paris to Singapore, Thailand to Dubai, the journey has been a fast-moving exchange of energy, ideas, and art. Along the way, the advisory engaged with local communities, pushed creative boundaries, and opened up new dialogues around the evolving role of contemporary expression.

This journey has been nothing short of transformative. Our creators have produced major new artworks, debuted full fashion collections, and secured global partnerships that will continue to expand the vision of the New Renaissance well into the future. "I couldn’t be more proud of the entire team for their dedication to this mission," says founder Joe Taveras.

Old New Renaissance – Paris, January 2025

In January, while in Paris, Matthew Moloney and Joe Taveras created a collaborative work titled Old New Renaissance. Painted in a single session using oil on a 16 x 20 inch canvas, the piece captures the raw immediacy of two artists in complete sync—working without sketches, plans, or hesitation.

The painting is dense with movement. Each stroke feels like a response to the last, building tension and rhythm in real time. It’s a work that doesn’t aim to resolve, but to expand—pushing against the edges of form while honoring the urgency of the moment.

Creating in Thailand

While in Thailand, Taveras created a piece that embodied his connection to place and presence. The surface was made from wood that had drifted in from the ocean—textured, weathered, and alive with its own story.

The work came together on the water itself, guided by instinct and the heat of the environment. No plan, no blueprint—just a flow of color and form shaped by the elements. The piece was acquired by a private collector on the island shortly after it was completed, grounding the entire cycle of creation in the same place where it began.

A Map to Infinity – A New Renaissance Collaboration in Dubai

One of the defining moments of this first mission came in Dubai, where Joe Taveras and fellow New Renaissance Creator Jad Maq collaborated on a series of works titled A Map to Infinity. Working atop one of the most stunning backdrops in the world, overlooking the Burj Khalifa, they created two powerful artworks that speak to the essence of limitless potential and artistic exploration.

Watch the full process below and dive deeper into the inspiration behind these new works.
