Chanthirteen moves across disciplines with an ease that’s rare and intentional. A graffiti writer, painter, architectural scholar, and watchmaker, his work is a study in precision—each mark, object, and idea deeply considered. Nothing is performative. Everything is earned.
He is New Renaissance.
After completing his doctorate at Harvard, Chan13 returned to China, where he now lives and works in Guangzhou. His work has gained international attention, showing in major cities like Hong Kong. Rooted in architectural logic and cultural memory, his art blends the structural clarity of design with the raw immediacy of graffiti—developed over years of practice, with no formal teacher, just repetition, refinement, and a personal code.

His graffiti reimagines language as architecture. His watches rethink time as something tactile. Whether working with walls, canvas, or mechanisms, Chan13 brings the same level of rigor, merging tradition and experimentation without ever diluting either.
We’ll be sharing more of his work in the months to come.
